What is Employee Relationship Management and why is the study so important? This study is basically studies that refers to the working relationship that exists and develops between employees (both individually and collectively) and the management of an organization. This course determines how these two parties interact with each other when determining terms and conditions of employment, during dispute negotiation and resolution, and throughout day-to-day operations. The objectives of employees and employers are diametrically opposed. Employers are attempting to obtain the highest profit margin possible whilst employees are trying to achieve the highest wage level possible.

This course is designed to provide participants with a practical and working knowledge of basic federal employee relations program requirements and to assist participants in developing advisory skills that support agency management and employees. Participants will recognize and provide regulatory and policy guidance in evaluating and addressing performance concerns; guide management in identifying and dealing with conduct/disciplinary issues; learn how to analyse and process employee grievances; and review federal employment program options designed to improve and maintain employee productivity, motivation, and morale.
